MAES DECIDE

Define the project. Choose a direction.

MAES Decide helps establish what you want to create, who it is for and why. It explores alternatives, weighs their strengths and limitations, and prepares a decision with a clear rationale.

MAES software supports work carried out by people, AI agents or both. Your business defines the roles, permissions and approvals required.

In development

Tell us what you need
01

You provide

A need, the people involved, the constraints and the outcomes you want.

02

What the software does

It examines possible approaches: useful features, ways to meet the need, resources and risks. Lessons from previous projects inform the analysis.

03

You approve

You approve the direction, priorities and success criteria. A decision can be accepted, changed, postponed or abandoned.

04

You receive

A defined project with the reasoning, rejected options, responsible person and intended outcomes. This brief guides the work that follows.

MAKE IT CONCRETE

Define a language-learning app.

A fictional example showing what the software does. This is not a software interface.

MAES Decide Example record

The need
Help beginners practise regularly, even when they have little time.
The options considered
Compare long lessons with short sessions, then choose the features for the first version.
The recorded decision
Choose short lessons, exercises and progress tracking. Record why the decision was made, who made it and how its outcome will be assessed.

Each action records who carried it out, whether a person or an AI agent, along with its date, context, rationale and supporting evidence.

WORKING WITH OTHER MAES SOFTWARE

The project continues.

For an app or feature, MAES Factory then builds a first working version: the beta. For a campaign, MAES Studio prepares content and distribution. The results inform future decisions.
